Description

The color palette of this handmade Australian Jade long necklace is inspired by the Northern Wei mural Seated Meditation of Āruo Kaundinya in Kizil Cave 17.

For centuries, artists in Central Asia ground malachite, red earth, and shell into natural mineral pigments. They applied these colors directly onto stone walls. The tones have softened over time, but they remain vivid in structure and depth.

We translate this ancient pigment language into a wearable form. We select natural green chalcedony (Australian Jade), red carnelian, and Trochus shell. Each material represents a layer of that historic mural palette. We hand-string them into a long necklace for everyday wear.
