The Jewea Story

Jewea began as a small creative studio founded by Shanyu, a jewelry designer with an academic background in Gemology and Jewelry Design from the University of Geosciences. Her creative vision is continuously inspired by natural elements, cultural symbolism, and the depth of vintage aesthetics.

From the early SHANYU Collection to the Dunhuang Collection, her designs have evolved through a continuous exploration of materials, form, and heritage. The Dunhuang series was later specially invited for collaboration by the Dunhuang Museum, reflecting a meaningful dialogue between contemporary craftsmanship and historic cultural legacy.

Each piece is created with patience and intention — often beginning with a single material selected for its singular texture, color, or meaning, and gradually shaped into a balanced, wearable composition.
